About Us
As we all know, Covid 19 hit the US in March 2020. This caused extreme layoffs, businesses to close, as well as hard times to be felt by all. Rusty Griffin (owner of RG Logistics) personally understands the impact this had; Rusty was laid off in April 2020 due to the pandemic. With time on Rusty’s hands and a vision he has always had, the full execution of RG Logistics came to life. With the help of loyal clients, RG Logistics opened for business May 1, 2020. Our goal, to focus exclusively on all our client’s needs. The main idea of RG Logistics, putting our clients first, providing exceptional services, and always doing right by them. The reward, loyal relationships, and ongoing growth with our client base.
Over 20 years of experience
About The Owner
Rusty Griffin has been in the world of logistics for more than 20 years. He has spent most of his time working with freight forwarding companies and has held positions in every aspect of the freight business. His experience includes, night operations, sales, operations manager, regional manager, terminal manager and Vice President of operations.
In addition to his love of all things logistical, he has a passion for coaching and has coached soccer for over 20 years. He has coached at multiple levels, including recreational, competition, middle school, high school and college. He currently coaches for an Academy program in Colorado, coaching 8, 9, and 10 year olds.
Rusty also enjoys all things Scouting. He is an Eagle Scout and spent 8 years as a Scout Master helping dozens of young men learn the principles of scouting. He truly believes and lives by the Scout law, conducting business and living by being, trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent.
Another of Rusty's passion is cooking. If you don't find Rusty at his desk helping a customer, you will find him in the kitchen or out by his smoker. His speciality?...Bacon. Rusty loves to cure and smoke his own bacon and if you haven't had a chance to try it, just ask him and he will certainly bring you a package to try.
Rusty's first love is and always will be his family. His wife, Holly, to whom he has been married to for 22 years, his son Tyler, currently serving an LDS mission in Mesa, AZ, and his twin daughters, Mia and Madison.
